Herding Cats Gin Collection
Herding Cats Gin Collection project details
The client reached out to Jamesprint about their desire to release a range of gins produced from the grape waste by-product from the winery, a first for this previously ‘all-wine’ Organic producer from NSW.
The name ‘Herding Cats’ came directly from Tamburlaine owner Mark Davidson and his statement that ‘getting everyone to agree on this new venture was like herding cats’.
Jamesprint were then given the renders of the bottles that were to be used and we collaborated about price points, target market, the different botanicals etc.
This then led to the production of some fun, fresh and vibrant design options that would appeal in the cellar door environment to the younger market while keeping the Tamburlaine branding as prominent as possible within the design.
The paper stock was chosen for it’s tactile feel yet super-white nature to give the brand a fresh, clean and vibrant look, while the tamper seal over the clear closure and visible stopper also gives a minimalist look to the package.
We are very grateful to have a client that trusts the Jamesprint internal design team with their new projects. Incidentally the gins are amazing as well!
